It looks the US armed forces are experimenting with repurposed propeller aircraft to reintroduce WW2-style close air support with the goal being to provide cheaper, closer, and longer-duration air support for ground operations.

I love the idea and found the aircraft in the video to be absolutely awesome. Just imagine how cool it would be to repurpose the Stuka to be fitted for modern battlefield operations. What a Face
